Union won for the forth week in a fow over a 4A school Friday with their 49-28 win over Heritage. Union was ranked #4 in both poll’s last week as well.
Even after their loss at home to Evergreen 27-26, Camas is still on the radar for 3A by the Seattle Times.
The Seattle Times ranks only 4A and 3A schools. While the Tacoma News Tribune lists all 6 classifications, they do not list “on the radar” teams.
No other GSHL teams were listed by either news paper. Not even 4A Skyview (3-1) and 2A Mark Morris (3-1) who both were both in the eleventh spot by the AP last week.

Plainsmen Score Late In 27-26 Win At Camas
WOW!
That about sums up the Evergreen, Camas football game Friday night at Doc Harris Stadium in Camas.
Evergreen scored on a 4th and goal with less than 2 minuets remaining in the game to take 27-26 lead and eventual win over the previously undefeated Camas Papermakers. Evergreen is now 2-2 on the season and opens league play next week at Kelso (3-1). The Papermakers fall to 3-1 and also open league play next week at home versus Hudson’s Bay (1-3).

Titans Keep Rolling With 49-28 Win Over Timberwolves
The forth ranked Union Titans just keep rolling Friday night. With a 49-28 win over Heritage at McKenzie Stadium the Titans are now 4-0 as they enter league play next Friday at Columbia River (2-2). With the loss, the Timberwolces drop to 1-3 as they also enter league play next Friday when they host Battle Ground (1-3).

Kelso Wins Third Straight 21-7 Over River
The Kelso Highlanders won at home 21-7 over the Columbia River Chieftains Friday night. Kelso is now 3-1 on the season as they enter league play next week hosting the Evergreen Plainsmen (2-2). Evergreen is back on track after a 0-2 start and star players Kyrell Hudson and James Monk will be back in action. The Chieftains fall to 2-2 on the season and they open league play at home versus #4 Union.

Skyview Easy Over Bay 55-14
The Skyview Storm got their change, and they answered. With #9 Lewis & Clark (Spokane) loosing yesterday, the storm had a perfect chance to show voters they belong in the top-10. A 55-14 win at Kiggins Bowl Friday night was exactly what Skyview needed. Skyview is now 3-1 on the season with the lone loss to 3A #4 Union on opening night. League play starts next week as the Storm host Mountain View (2-2). The Eagles fall to 1-3 with their lone win coming over 1A La Center. Bay opens league play next week at Camas (3-1) who lost a heart-breaker at home to Evergreen Friday night.

Hawks Soar At Home In 62-0 Win Over Panthers
Things went from bad to worse for the Washougal Panthers Friday night in Hockinson. The Panthers, coming off a 56-0 home loss to Camas last week, still had no answer on either side of the ball in a 62-0 loss to the Hockinson Hawks. Hockinson evens it’s record at 2-2 as they enter league play next Friday at Ridgefield (1-3). Washougal has now been outscored 183-14 in their 4 losses. League play starts next week at #11 Mark Morris. Things may get worse before they get better for the Panthers.
The two teams will play again to close out the season in Washougal on Haloween (Oct. 31) in a league game .
