After Scoreless Regulation Hockinson Beats Washougal 9-3 In 3 OT

Hockinson and Washougal ended regulation the way they started 0-0. Finally in the 3rd OT, Hockinson’s Nick Guinett scored a rushing TD from 8 yards out to give the Hawks a 9-3 win and the 2A GSHL’s final playoff spot.

Hockinson improves to 2-7 and 2-3 in league with the win. The Hawks will travel to #5 W.F. West (9-0) Friday/Saturday in the preliminary round of the state playoffs.

With the loss, Washougal drops to 2-7 and 1-4 in league. The Panthers season is over.
