Camas 2009 Spring Practice Breakdown
June 20, 2009
As spring practice comes to a close, what are your initial thoughts about your team?
Coach Eagle – We are bigger, stronger, faster, and more experienced—what’s not to like?
Who are 3-4 of your returning players from last year’s Varsity team?
Coach Eagle – We have a strong senior class with a solid OLine, some talented skill position kids, and a defense that I believe will play with great speed, strength and physicality.
What players were not on the Varsity last season who you expect to be impact players this season?
Coach Eagle – We were very young last year, so most of our impact players did in fact play a great deal of varsity, plus the fact that we go mostly one way, we have a great deal of experience with players that have been around a varsity practice for a year.
About how many players are you expecting to turn out in the fall?
Coach Eagle – We anticipate 150+ Papermakers. 20% of all male students play football at CHS.
What are your goals as a team for the 2009 season?
Coach Eagle – Our main goal is to be the best team in Camas HS history.

Camas did very well at OSU camp, winning the tournament on the last day. A very fast team.
