Camas Shoutout Evergreen In 29-0 Win

Despite 4 turnovers, the Camas Papermakers still shout out the visiting Plainsmen from Evergreen 29-0. Camas QB Logan Grindy had 180 yards passing and a 1 yard rushing TD. Camas RB Tyler Fisher added 60 yards rushing and a TD, while fellow RB Austin Benson had 83 yards rushing and a TD. Camas kicker Stuart Jergensen had FG’s from 33,42,40. Evergreen struggled to move the ball and league rushing leader Chase Lawrence left the game injured in the first half.

With the win Camas improves to 3-0 on the season and will travel to Kiggins Bowl Friday to face Skyview in their final non-league game. Evergreen drops to 1-2 on the season with the loss and will host Forest Grove of Oregon Friday at McKenzie Stadium to wrap up their non-league schedule.

    im not sure which is better union getting like 40 points over EHS or camas not letting EHS score hahaha

    Mr. Camas didn’t score forty, and you are bragging about beating a team that is mostly sophmores and juniors. Their number one back gets a knee injury eary in the game and you “hahaha”. Not that they were going to beat you, but show a little class.
