Week 8 Recap And Week 9 Predictions

Paul and Bryan talk about the games form week 8 including the big win for Hockinson over Woodland where Paul was as well as the Heritage overtime win over Battle Ground at McKenzie where Bryan was. Both were great games.
They talked about how they were both shocked at the Columbia River versus Skyview game. Each were following along on twitter wondering just when Skyview would turn it on and pull away. This, along with the sloppy win for Mountain View over Hudson’s Bay makes the Chieftain’s game at Mountain View even more interesting this week.
Hockinson and Woodland played a very good game that had the 2A GSHL title on the line. An evenly matched game game was tied at 13 in the 3rd quarter before the Hawks pulled away. Both Woodland and Hockinson struggled last season and how cool it is to see them both at the top this year. They talked about how hard the week 10 games will be for the 2A schools.
With Heritage’s 21-20 overtime win over Battle Ground that still leaves the door open for both Battle Ground, despite the loss to the Timberwolves and for Evergreen, despite their 0-8 record, to make the playoffs.
They look forward to the Union at Skyview game. The game they, as well as almost everyone, have been waiting for all season.
They also talked about much more. Remember, both of these guys like to talk.

Week 7 Recap And Week 8 Predictions

In this weeks podcast:
Paul and Bryan talk about the games form week 7 including the big win for Woodland over Washougal in double overime. Both had not seen a close game since week 1 when Skyview hosted Sherwood of Oregon.
Both agree that Washougal had the game in hand early and that they could have easily built a much larger lead and may not have lost that game. While Woodland made the plays in the 4th quarter and overtime to win, Sam O’Hara of Washougal was dominating that game.
They look forward to the Hockinson at Woodland game. A win for Woodland would clinch the 2A Greater St. Helens League title. A Hockinson win combined with a Washougal loss at Mark Morris would give Hockinson at least a co-championship and the No. 1 seed into the post season.
Prairie QB Colin Seitz, in his first game back form a 2 week absence due to a concussion, threw for over 400 yards and 7 touchdowns in the first half in Prairie’s 58-0 win over Hudson’s Bay. They talked about Seitz huge passing season for Prairie.
