Chieftains Big Second Quarter Paves The Way To 38-14 Win Over The Eagles

Trailing 7-6 after one quarter, Columbia River took over the game in the second, scoring 18 unanswered points on their way to a 38-14 home win over the Hudson’s Bay Eagles.
with the win, Columbia River improves to 5-3 and 3-1 in league. The Chieftians will play at District Stadium Thursday versus the Prairie Falcons (2-5 3-1). The win also clinched a play-off spot for the Chieftains.
Hudson’s Bay drops to 1-7 and 0-4 in league with the loss. The Eagles close the regular season versus Fort Vancouver (2-6 1-3) at Kiggins Bowl on Friday night.
