As spring practice comes to a close, what are your initial thoughts about your team?

Coach O’Rourke – The juniors and seniors are competing for varsity playing time. The coaches and players know how much they have to improve.

Who are 3-4 of your returning players from last year’s Varsity team?

Coach O’Rourke – Eric Inloes ( C ), Brendon Sen-Crowe (G), Brandon Freeman ( DE ), Thiesen Chang (WR/DB), Wyatt Brinkman (WR/DB).

What players were not on the Varsity last season who you expect to be impact players this season?

Coach O’Rourke – Neil Daly (QB), Marcus Rodrigues (RB), Jordan Currie, (RB/LB), Mark Joyner (OL/DL), Cody Gilder (OL/DL), Terence Joshua (LB)

About how many players are you expecting to turn out in the fall?

Coach O’Rourke – Between 120 and 130.

What are your goals as a team for the 2009 season?

Coach O’Rourke – The league championship is the first priority.
