Columbia River Gets First Win Of The Season 7-3 Over Kelso

The Columbia River Chieftains were looking to avoid their first 0-4 start since the 50′s. They did just that Friday night at Chieftain Stadium as they defeated the visiting Kelso Hilanders 7-3.

Columbia River improves to 1-3 on the season and will open league play Friday at Union (3-1).

With the loss, Kelso drops to 3-1 on the season and will travel to Evergreen (2-2) Thursday to open league play.
