Columbia River Pulls Away Late At Hudson’s Bay For 34-19 Win

Hudson’s Bay stood toe-to-toe withe the visiting Columbia River Chieftains for two and a half quarters before River pulled away in the third for the 34-19 road league win.
Columbia River QB Clayton Frank threw 3 touchdown passes and ran for another in the win. WR Ian Christianson caught 2 of the scores, both in the third quarter.
Three different Eagles found the end zone in the loss. QB Travis Roberts had a rushing touchdown and threw for a score for Bay.
With the win Columbia River improves to 3-2 on the season and 1-2 in league play. The Chieftains will travel to Prairie (2-3 1-2) Friday at District Stadium 7:00 p.m. Hudson’s Bay falls to 1-4 on the season with the loss and 0-2 in league play. The Eagles will travel to Camas (5-0 3-0) Friday at Doc Harris Stadium 7:00 p.m.
