TRANSITION! I remember at the start of this season telling my self it we win 2 games we are doing great. NEXT year we will win 4-5 games then the following year - well I'll just say we take it all. Every ounce of pure Victory. Then the bitchin can start that Evergreen is again the only force to reckon with in the Greater Saint Helens League. So Says Egreen......It has been said.... We all love the enterceptions, the kick off returns, and the sacks. But folks that 60 yard touchdown, that 7 second drop back by the quarterback (that resulted in a 25 yard catch), or that pass rush that kept the quarterback scrambling all night deserve credit also. BG was up by 10 pts at half but gave up 2 quick scores to start the second half. Pulled within 35-30 but gave up another score to Heritage in the 4th to make it 43-30. BG then plugged in a late score to make it close and Heritage closed them out. Game was penalty ridden and very frustrating to watch for both teams. Not exactly disciplined football but a win that Heritage needed badly none the less. The effort was there for both teams. Good job TWOLVES, your fans are proud!
