Explosive R.A. Long Rolls Over Hockinson 29-3

R.A. Long used big plays and a solid defense Friday night to beat Hockinson 29-3 at Longview Memorial Stadium. Lumberjack Dylan Hopkins had 2 TD catches and William Yordy added a rushing TD as well as throwing one to Hopkins. Hockinson scored first to take a 3-0 lead in the first, but after that it was all Jacks.
With the win, R.A. Long improves to 5-1 and 2-0 in league play. The Lumberjacks will travel to Washougal (2-4) next Friday.
Hockinson falls to 1-5 and 1-1 in league play with the loss. The Hawks will travel to Woodland (4-2) on Friday.

hockinson coulda put up a better game if half the players weren’t out sick. Only a handful were well enough to make it to practice that week and most of the school seems to be getting it too. They’ll be good next week to lay a beat down on woodland. GO HAWKS
Hockinson had critical starters out with injury, several players were sick (flu, mono).. And they just lost their quarterback for the second time. They probably wouldn’t have won still, but it would have been a better game.

That game we had so man out, litreally 1/3 of our school was sick, so that the only reson why, we could have destroed RA Long if we we’re all there, There amazing (:
