Got something to say?

after watching the video the secondary didnt look nearly as good as i thought they would be
Last season, Union’s DB’s got torched, lit up, burned, etc. against their better opponents. If the Bothell game game is an indicator of things to come, the better QB’s in the GSHL should have a field day against these guys. Not sure if it’s a reflection of coaching or the fact that this group just isn’t all that.
As a Titan fan, I sure hope they improve…sometimes it’s hard to sit in the stands next to Titan parents and keep quiet while their sons get burnt play after play after play after play……
It’s called High School Football Rocky Top. Players will make mistakes from time to time and as a parent sitting in the stands, you should support the players by building them back up, not tearing them down. Just saying…The U secondary will be fine.
I agree the secondary will get better. Coach had them in “miami” and “ohio” coverage all night. Rotating from man and one deep hurt. Bothell had their way passing.
It didn’t help that one of our starting corners went down early in the game. Bothell didn’t do much until then. We were up 10-0 at that point. All 3 of their TD’s were either scored on or set up on the backup CB. He did his best, but there is always a reason one player is a starter over another.
union will be lucky to get into the round of 16 at state this year. t
@titanpride… dude union is so full of excuses… loosing one player should not have that big of an effect on a game’s outcome… especially when the game changing play was a failure by the offense. Infact, if union believes it is that good of a program, its replacements should be effective players. Just look at their loss to sky view last year, Skyview was out a starting DE and WR and still managed to beat them. That said, the CB probably more of a scapegoat than a serious week point in the defense. Time for a serious reality check titan pride.
No excuse. The offense wasn’t very good. The defense was actually pretty good until the injury. If were at the game, as I was, would would know that Bothell’s big plays came against the backup. Just not enough speed to cover the Bothell WR. Big time player. Bothell is a good team. Union, if healthy (all 4 RB’s got injured at some point during the game) is probably just as good. It was unfortunate for the kids to have those injuries and not be able to match up at full strength.
titan pride, you say no excuses, but then point out how all Bothell’s big plays were against the backup and then go on about how all 4 running backs were injured?? sounds like excuses to me. not only are you making excuses, but your singling out one guy and thats just not cool. its a team game. win as a team lose as a team.
