Game Recap – Camas 58 Bainbridge 0

After jumping out to a 42-0 halftime lead on Bainbridge, Camas rolled to an easy 58-0 victory Friday night at Doc Harris Stadium. Zack Marsahll scored the games first two touchdowns, the first a 40 yard screen pass from QB Tony Gennaro and the second a 21 yard run. Marshall finished the game with 103 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns and the one catch. John Payne, stepped off Payne Island long enough to catch 3 passes for 114 yards and scored two touchdowns, he also had one long touchdown called back. Gennaro finished the game with 319 passing yards on 14 of 20 passing and threw 4 touchdowns.

Camas improves their record to 9-1 on the season with the win. The Papermakers will host Kennedy Catholic (8-1) Friday or Saturday at Doc Harris Stadium, time TBD in the first round of the WIAA State Playoffs.

    It seemed like every time Camas had a touchdown called back, the very next play they’d tell the referees off by doing the same play for the same result. Funny stuff.

    Also, that one catch that a Camas player made that was ruled incomplete was complete crap. Just sayin’.

    Rough night for #1, though. He’ll be playing a lot of catch over the next few days.

    Anyway, bring on Kennedy. Time for some payback from 2008 :)
