Game Recap – Coeur d’Alene 52 Skyview 14
Written by Bryan Levesque on September 11, 2011
Skyview got behind early Saturday afternoon in Coeur d’Alene Idaho. After falling behind 25-0 at the half, they still could not keep the #1 ranked team from Idaho out of the end zone. Parker Henry broke off a nice 65 yard touchdown run in the third quarter to cut the lead to 25-7, but the Vikings answered back with two more scores of their own before Jordan Berni hit Spencer Miles for the Storm’s only other score on the after noon. Henry did run for over 100 yards and Berni and McDonagh combined for 191 passing yards in the loss.
With the loss, Skyview drops to 0-2 on the season. The Storm will travel to Heritage (1-1) Friday at McKenzie Stadium 8:00 p.m.
