Game Recap – Eisenhower 55 Evergreen 31

Eisnehower QB Kole Cassel threw for 389 yards and 3 touchdowns as the visiting Cadets from Yakima jumped out to a 20-3 halftime lead and then held on during a wild second half that saw nine more touchdowns. Evergreen’s 31 points more than double their season total of 25 they had through their first three games. Plainsmen RB Justin Straup cracked the 100 yard mark for a second week in-a-row as the Sophomore ran for 134 on 17 carries and scored one touchdown. Junior QB Anthony Thomas threw for 183 yards, which was 71 more yards than his season total of 112. Four different Plainsmen scored touchdowns in the loss, including lineman Mitchell Hullinger who recovered a fumble in the end zone.
Evergreen falls to 0-4 on the season with the loss. The Plainsmen will travel to Battle Ground (3-1) Friday at District Stadium, 7:00 p.m.

From where I was sitting, the crowd was stunned the second half. To see Evergreen finally wake up, especially the coach. Where were these new plays all season. Some plays look like what coach learned from MV. Let’s see if these plays work against BG, another young team,
mitch hullinger didnt score that td it was me number 57 the center and i picked it up and scored just saying.
