Game Recap – Heritage 36 Mark Morris 14

Heritage went into the second half only up 14-6 on the visiting Mark Morris Monarchs. Then the Timberwolves blew the game wide open in the third when they scored three touchdowns in less than 2 minutes. Timberwolves defenders Houston Dillard and Michael Quintana each scored, Dillard a 4 yard fumble return and Quintana a 42 yard interception return. Mark Morris was held to 125 rushing yards, 69 of those came from RB Nikko Asbell, who also scored the Monarchs only rushing touchdown.
Heritage improves their record to 1-1 on the season with the win. The Timberwolves will host Skyview (0-2) Friday at McKenzie Stadium 8:00 p.m. With the loss, Mark Morris drops to 1-1 on the season. The Monarchs will River Ridge (2-0) Friday at Longview Memorial Stadium, 7:00 p.m.
