Game Recap – Hockinson 14 Mark Morris 13

Mark Morris jumped out to a 13-0 lead entering the forth quarter on the road at Hockinson. Monarch’s RB Nikko Asbell scored the games first two touchdown and finished the night with 146 yards rushing and the 2 TD’s, however it was not enough was the host Hawks scored 14 in the forth quarter on a 1 yard run by Josiah Niemela and a 32 yard pass from QB Jess Krahn to WR Jacob Reagan. Niemela was the Hawks top rusher with 71 yards on 19 carries and Krahn passed for 128 yards in the win.

Hockinson improves their record to 4-2 and 1-0 in league play on the season with the win. The Hawks will travel to R.A. Long (1-5 0-2) Friday at Longview Memorial Stadium, 7:00 p.m. Mark Morris falls to 2-4 and 0-2 in league play on the season with the loss. The Monarchs will travel to W.F. West (5-1) Friday 7:00 p.m.
