Game Recap – Hockinson 55 R.A. Long 19

Hockinson rolled up over 500 yards of offense on the road Friday night in a 55-19 win over R.A. Long. Hawks RB Josiah Niemela ran for 131 yards and a touchdown and Jacob Reagan ran back an interception 90 yards for a score, then caught a 46 yard touchdown pass from QB Jess Krahn, and topped off the night with a 5 yard touchdown run. Krahn threw for 236 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. R.A. Long Sophomore WR Jacob Yordy ran in 3 touchdowns from 25,61 and 80 yards as he ran for 210 yards in the loss.

Hockinson improves their record to 5-2 on the season and 2-0 in league play with the win. The Hawks will travel to Woodland (4-3 3-0) Friday at Woodland Stadium, 7:00 p.m. R.A. Long falls to 1-6 on the season and 0-3 in league play with the loss. The Lumberjacks will travel to Aberdeen (1-6) Friday at 7:00 p.m.

    I have not edited it yet. I will get on it after my son’s CCYF game this evening. It will be up LATE tonight or early tomorrow morning.

    I’ll say it again, these Jacks are young and have a great shot at a great comeback next year after taking some serious lumps this year. Yordy played a phenomenal game, he is really exciting to watch. Peerboom took some SHOTS last night, the line has to protect him or he’s gonna get hurt.

    people are not able to change their post name. I updated that because that was the email/IP combination that had been used on a few others. If your going to put in the username someone else regularly goes by, then you lose your privilege to keep your identity private. Think before you post, and don’t try to pretend to be multiple people, I can see who you are and where your coming from! Let’s keep it classy San Diego!
