Game Recap – Kelso 12 Hudson’s Bay 6

Hudson’s Bay went into tonight’s game looking to do something that no other Eagles team has done since 1978, beat the Kelso Hilanders. The Eagles looked to be on there way when RB Richard Carter went 62 yards for the first score of the game. However, they were unable to score any more points at home and Kelso, despite not completing a single pass the entire game ran in a pair of touchdowns and took the win 12-6. Hilander RB Taylor Radcliffe led all rushers with 130 yards on 17 carries and had the game winning 54 yard TD run in the third quarter. Kelso has now won 20 straight games over Hudson’s Bay in football.
Kelso improves their record to 1-2 on the season and 1-0 in league play with the win. The Hilanders will host Union (2-1) Friday at Schroeder Field, 7:00 p.m. Hudson’s Bay falls to 0-3 on the season with the loss and 0-1 in league play. The Eagles will host Battle Ground (2-1) Friday at Kiggins Bowl, 7:00 p.m.
