Game Recap – Lakes 49 Evergreen 6

The #2 ranked Lakes Lancers showed those in attendance at McKenzie Stadium Friday afternoon just how good of a football team they have. The visiting Lancers scored the first 7 times they had the football, including 5 touchdowns in the first quarter. LeVonte Littlejohn scored 4 of the Lancers 6 touchdowns, all on the ground. Evergreen managed to score on the final play of the half. After calling a timeout with 2 seconds left on the clock, Jared Telles ran in from 10 yards out to avoid the shut out.

Evergreen falls to 0-2 on the season with the loss. The Plainsmen will travel to Richland (2-0) Friday at 7:00 p.m.
