Game Recap – Lakewood 36 Prairie 31

These two teams never fail to put on an offensive show.
The Prairie Falcons dropped another close game to the Lakewood Cougars. Last year Prairie lost at Lakewood 47-34 to open the 2010 season. This year QB Colin Seitz passed for over 300 yards and WR Jessee Zalk scored a touchdown on offense and on defense. Prairie led 17-16 at the half and 31-24 after 3. But Lakewood scored a pair of touchdowns in the 4th and the Falcons were unable to score on their final drive and came up short 36-31.
With the loss Prairie falls to 0-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Hockinson (1-0) Friday at Nautilus Field 7:00 p.m.

The season is much too far way, I just can't stand the wait. With college finished I might actually get to see more games this season. I got to watch the Storm play a number of weeks but I didnt get to see many of the the other games and I look forward to seeing...
In the 2A it should be a mix between RAL, Hockinson, or Washougal. I see Mark Morris a year away but I could be wrong. RAL returns Ryan Peerboom, Eric Roselini, and most dynamic player in the league in Jacob Yordy, all with a year of experience under there belt. Hockinson returns the Leagues best...

NOTE: There has been a slight schedule change in week 3 Sept 14. The Hudson's Bay at Hockinson game as been moved to Kiggins Bowl, and will be played at 8pm, while the Lakes at Skyview game has been moved up to 5pm....
Not sure why folks are picking Aberdeen in the top 3 of 2A. They moved from the 2A Evergreen Conference because they couldn't compete in that league. I don't think they'll be horrible, but I don't see them as a top 3 team.

JB also played more than half the game at Couerd'Alene. Yes they got beat bad but he did lead them on their only 2 scoring drives. He did play a lot of garbage minutes but he also had a few series when the starter needed to come out for a play or 2. just sayin......
