Game Recap – Mark Morris 21 Kelso 7

After falling behind 7-0 to cross town rivals Kelso, The Mark Morris Monarchs scored the games final 3 touchdowns (2 from RB Nikko Asbell) and defeated the Hilanders at home 21-7. Mark Morris snapped a 2 game slide to Kelso, and have now taken 3 of the last 5 meetings.

With the win Mark Morris improves to 1-0 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Heritage (0-1) Friday at McKenzie Stadium 8:00 p.m. Kelso falls to 0-1 on the season with the loss. The Hilanders will host Columbia River (1-0) Friday at Schroeder Field 7:00 p.m in both teams league opener.
