R.A. Long Sophomore Jacob Yordy was a one man show Friday night at Longview Memorial Stadium. Yordy scored all 3 of the games touchdowns, twice he ran in the football and the other he hauled in a pass from QB Ryan Peerboom. Peerboom threw for 186 yards in the win.
R.A. Long improves to 1-1 on the season with the win. The Lumberjacks will travel to Rainier, OR (2-0) Friday at Rainier High School, 7:00 p.m. With the loss, Hudson’s Bay drops to 0-2 on the season. The Eagles will host Kelso (0-2) Friday at Kiggins Bowl, 8:00 p.m.

The Jacks showed signs of what they can be. With more experience they could be dangerous. Others like Peerboom, Roundtree and Rosellini will need to step it up because teams will really start keying on Yordy. Friday night against Rainier should be a good one.
