Game Recap – Ridgefield 37 Fort Vancouver 8

In the first Greater St. Helens League football game of the 2011 season, Fort Vancovuer had no answer for Ridgefield RB Michael Knox. Knox had 3 rushing touchdowns on the afternoon and threw in a 85 yard kickoff return for a touchdown for good measure. Fort Vancouver’s lone score came in the second quarter when QB Jacob Austin scrambled in from 8 yards out.

With the loss Fort Vancouver falls to 0-1 on the season. The Trappers travel to Battle Ground (0-1) Friday at District Stadium 7:00 p.m.
