Game Recap – Union 33 Mountain View 21

Union jumped out to a quick 21-0 second quarter lead and had the Mountain View Thunder reeling. But instead of rolling over, the Thunder keep at it and tied the game at 21 in the third quarter. Union, however put up the games final 2 touchdowns and took home the 33-21 victory. Titans RB Gabe Rego scored on runs of 63 and 1 yards in the first quarter and later added a 4 yard run in the third to retake the lead. Rego finished the game with 230 yards rushing. QB Kaben Humphrey-Buttler passed for 101 yards throwing one touchdowns and running for another. Mountain View RB Michael Rivers led the Thunder with 123 rushing yards and scored two rushing touchdowns in the loss.
Union improves their record to 4-1 on the season with the win. The Titnas will host Heritage (1-4 0-1) Friday at McKenzie Stadium, 7:00 p.m. Mountain View falls to 3-2 on the season with the loss. The Thunder will host Fort Vancouver (0-5 0-2) Thursday at McKenzie Stadium, 7:00 p.m.
