UNION showed why they are a big name program they beat up on other programs. watch out for this team this year i feel they could do some special things. Go Titans !!
….they beat up on other programs with bad records (Westview is now 0-3.)
Right.
My man 22 punched one in last night, so I gotta make good on my promise. – See name revision – Not bad for not being full strength. Anyone taking notice of KB-H’s arm strength? 50 yards in the air on the money! QB that can throw, and I mean THROW!
I went to the game… Westview is so bad. I mean terrible. I was tempted to go put on one of their uniforms at halftime and start to actually do something for their team. It was a joke.
westview might have been bad. but union has KEY players injured right now. AJ anderson Brandon Brody Hiem and Tre Christensen. and there right tackle Jordan Gustafson is still suspended for 1 more game. when all these weapons come back Union will be the team to BEAT!! go TITANS!!!!
Feel sorry for
Kelso next weekend. Please don’t make me drive home at halftime.
team to beat? Skyview will beat Union. Mark my words. Union is not “THE” team to beat
union is so old news. an average 4A football team that will beat up on the crappy teams, struggle to get into the playoffs, then get blown out when they face a real team from up north. hate to break it to the union faithful, but your time has come and gone. the greater vancouver all star team of years past has left the building.
If I remember right, our Titans beat a team up north last weekend and did a pretty dang good job of it! They are doing an awesome and I’m so proud of who they are. GO TITANS!
*They are doing an awesome job (is what I meant).
paperpower, you are truly funny!! Great post.
Union has beat two VERY weak teams from up north. Not playoff Contenders. I agree with Waterboy, Skyview is the team to beat and WILL beat Union. 4A will play out almost just like last year. That league seems to be getting weaker and weaker every year.
I think Union and Skyview both have question marks leading up to their big showdown.
Skyview has struggled defensively slowing legit, top-10 teams (both Sherwood and that Idaho team that I’m not going to try to spell). If Skyview can slow down the top teams in our state in the 1st round or quarterfinals is a question.
Union’s performance against Bothell was not good. Their pass defense was torched (just like last year when it counted most late in the game against Skyview and again against Bothell in the playoffs). However, Union has done a heck of a job this year without arguably it’s top 2 players. That says a lot. Imagine if Skyview was missing their top 2 players (I’d say Parker Henry and Kaben).
Skyview’s Parker Henry may be the best RB in SW WA. Yes, possibly better than Brandon Brody-Heim. We haven’t seen enough of Brody-Heim this to decide for sure.
One thing is for certain: Skyview vs. Union should be another great game. Skyview has the most firepower and starpower this year (it will always be this way, with Camas..sometimes Union, sometimes Skyview). This is SKyview’s time. But at the same time, Union has enough to get it done as well. Games are not won on paper. I expect Skyview to win that game, if you’re a betting man, you go with what is on paper. But we will see.
Camas was missing Logan Grindy and Zach Marshall for all their playoff games… I don’t think missing your two star players is an excuse.
why is everybody so critical on this site? It doesn’t matter who the best team is players go out every friday to play the game, not whine about who’s the best team. Maybe you should just enjoy the game instead of arguing over who’s the best and cutting everybody down
This game was played on Thursday, how come all the Friday videos are up but this one isn’t?
K-nute’ – We had an issue with our video quality Thursday night. There won’t be a highlight video form this game. Hopefully we don’t run into the same issues with any further games. Sorry guys!
ahhh…bummer – lots of good plays. Thanks, Bryan – didn’t mean to sound negative there, you just got us all so spoiled – you da man!
