Game Recap – Woodland 28 Black Hills 12

Woodland never trailed in their 28-12 home non-league victory over Black Hills. After taking a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, the Beavers saw their lead dwindle down to 2 as they entered the 4th quarter. Woodland then scored two more touchdowns, including Beavers RB Cy Whitmire’s 2nd rushing touchdown in the game, to win 28-12. Cy Whitmire finished the night with 193 rushing yards on 33 carries and 2 rushing touchdowns.

Woodland improves their record to 5-4 on the season with the win. The Beavers travel to North Thurston (8-1) Friday or Saturday, time TBD.
