Grayson’s Career Comes To An End As South Kitsap Tops Heritage 38-21

Written by Bryan Levesque on November 8, 2009

For the third year in a row, the Heritage Timberwolves lost in the preliminary round on the road. This time 38-21 at South Kitsap (10-0).

Heritage star QB Garrett Grayson threw for 156 yards and 2 TD’s and also ran for 71 yards and another TD.

In Heritage’s 8 year history prior to Grayson taking over at QB, the school had only made the post season one time (2000). Heritage made the post season all three years under Grayson.

South Kitsap improves to 10-0 with the win. The Wolves will host #2 Skyline (8-2) next weekend.

With the loss Heritage drops to 4-6. The Timberwolves season is over.

It hurts so much to see a lose like this one more then in past years at least for me as student and a fan I love this team and this group of guys they mean so much to me so to all the players on there looking for some props I well given to all the time.

Thanks to the team for letting me be a part in this year you all rook

  2. Heritage Alumni on November 9th, 2009 2:05 pm

Proud of heritage, playing with half starting defense injured and a few from offense…. kept it close against an undefeated south kitsap…. sucks to see the season end though… would like to see grayson a few more times… good luck rest of gshl!!!!

  3. U.T. PARENT on November 9th, 2009 3:40 pm

Grayson should of came to the U for 2 state titles for sure.

  4. GSHLFAN on November 9th, 2009 6:55 pm

I guess that shows his character he wanted to go and play where he was supposed to. Unlike many of Unions kids now- Knowing the U- it is not from lack of them trying to get him.

  5. swwashfan on November 9th, 2009 7:01 pm

Grayson was great were he was and whats wrong with what you have for qb
he is a great leader and has the chemistry with the other players its about TEAM not individuals

  6. Titan Fan on November 9th, 2009 8:16 pm

U.T. PARENT. its those kinds of comments that make people frown upon Union. Union has never recruited a player and never will. if your so ignorant as to make a comment like that don’t Union has already dealt with the issue and accusations and they don’t need parents to make those kinds of comments.

  7. titan fan on November 9th, 2009 9:01 pm

We couldn’t ask for a better leader and player than Brandon Weller. What a great kid. There is no way we would have beaten Bellevue last year even with Grayson and who knows Weller will most likely get us there again and win the whole thing.

  8. PS3Epic on November 9th, 2009 9:12 pm

Grayson would be another person for teams to defend in the Union offense and he could contribute on defense. Grayson Peranda and Sailor make a 3 headed monster no team in state could of stopped. Weller is admirable at what he does, but Grayson would of put Union on top in year one. Cale needed to of sweet talked him more. I heard he was close, but Grayson has always been a strong person and was committed to Heritege no matter what.

  9. Just Sayin' on November 9th, 2009 9:38 pm

I love these unsubstantiated reports, actually I really hate him. That’s quite an allegation PS3Epic, I suppose you can back up your statement that Coach personally went after a kid from another school…oh, you can’t – SHOCKER!

  10. Union Dad on November 9th, 2009 10:05 pm

    PS3Epic,GSHLFAN, and U.T. PARENT,
lets take a trip down memory lane, 28-5, this is Wellers record as the starting quarterback of the BEST TEAM in Clark county BAR NON, now does he get the credit as a top quarterback…no, , is he ever up on the stat boards…no but with the game on the line there is no other quarterback any Titan fan would want in the game. No I am not dissing Dodge, Grinde, or even the almighty, super-duper a#1stud grayson, all Weller does is make plays, and win and win so big that the coaches feel they need to take out most of the offense by half time, Yes Heritage fans that was there JV team kicking your behind in the second half while the clock was running.
Give me a quarterback that finds ways to make plays that have blown up, to take nothing and make something and accumulate a record of 28-5 with 3 of those loses coming in his sophomore year, oh and he did not have a seasoned line as grinde and Grayson blocking for him, he had mostly sophomores blocking, so if any of you can make that kind of case for your quarterbacks bring it on.
U.T. PARENT-Shame on you your probably a Camas parent
GSHLFAN- Give it a rest, you really have shown your ignorance all year
PS3Epic-SHUT UP, you make GSHL fan look half intelligent go play your video games and let the grown ups talk.

swwashfan- you hit the nail on the head, while all these great quarterback sit at home and are turning in gear,Dodge excluded, Weller is leading his team AGAIN into the playoffs he is a team player as is the Union Team.
Get it all, TEAM thats why they continue to bring it every week 9and why they are still playing) OK, lesson learned.

  11. Union Dad on November 9th, 2009 10:13 pm

Greater saint, give it a rest, to be the best you have to play the best, you did you lost.

all i gotta say is camas will be back next season even better and wanting to tie up the series between camas and union… but for now go union bring that title to the GSHL

  13. QB looks good when he has talent around him on November 9th, 2009 10:32 pm

    ah… lets be real now

you are saying weller is better than dodge and grayson because wellers team is 28-5 the last 3 years? really? so you think ken dorsey is hands down a better qb than eli manning?? YOU WOULD HAVE TO! dorsey was 38-2 as the qb for miami, while eli’s ol miss team was only 31-18 while he led them. CLEARLY manning sucks and dorsey is the best qb EVER!

not that dorsey had any help, nope… i have never even heard of these jokers he had on his 2001 team alone

Willis McGahee, Najeh Davenport, DJ Williams, Ed Reed, Sean Taylor, Clinton Portis, Frank Gore, Jonathan Vilma, Vince Wilfork, Bryant McKinnie, Kellen Winslow, Roscoe Parrish, Jeremy Shockey

just like the kids at union no one has heard of, mitch saylor, blake russelle, nate peneranda, zach browning, taylor nilson, zach strabaugh, tj boatright,

everyone knows the kids at heritage, you know, ah, well that guy that was hurt, and the other kid that had to be good…

well, you settled it, weller and dorcey best qb’s of all time! lets go to canton!

  15. Papermakerpride on November 10th, 2009 12:06 am

Union dad. I mean no disrespect, but i do believe that most every union fan has complained one way or another about the class of the camas students. Being a camas student (which apparently means i have 0 class….) even i realize how unclassy you are, taking shots at heritage and camas. Grayson is a stud and in true union form you have to pull out the “yea hes good but someone else from union is better” it is much like how you ask for everyone else to support the teams remaining in state. Why should you get any respect from other gshl schools if you dont recognize the other solid players and teams who are in the gshl. Also, saying u.t. was a camas parent because they didnt show class…. Completely unnecessary. You are making every comment made by union fans about the class of camas very hypocrytical. Im not sure what you mean by lesson learned either… If i am wrong please correct me. Go gshl (yes union too)

  16. CamasDB on November 10th, 2009 12:25 am

What a joke, UT parent. I wonder if you were at the Union vs Camas game where you would happen to see that your almighty QB had what? 7 fumbles by himself and not to mention almost 2 interceptions by Brock Beall. The joke is that we lost to help the Union QB off suicide watch and the only reason why Camas did lose isn’t because of your QB making plays, its because Union’s defense stepped up and Camas defense became a letdown. BTW, Union does recruit athletes since they tried to recruit me to play for their tennis and swimming.

  17. Joke.... on November 10th, 2009 12:39 am

Camas DB, don’t kid yourself, Union does not recruit…. And I have heard the tennis and swim teams are dominant there so don’t kid yourself. Your a highschooler making up lies because you can’t get over a loss. Camas played great that game. Union played horrible but stepped up in the end and showed their true colors. No way would that have happened without weller. You’re bitter because Camas is now out…. but they played well against liberty. They had their chance to tie the game in the end when they were down but the end result is final. GET OVER IT AND GET OVER YOURSELF. Your embarrassing your school

  18. Casual Observer on November 10th, 2009 6:56 am

Yeah right CamasDB, Union tried to recruit you so that we can dominate the ever popular tennis/swimming leagues. Having a kid from Union tell you that you should transfer to Union is not recruiting. Stop kidding yourself.

Did the Union quarterback turn the ball over, Yes. But you have to give Camas credit for their pressure. Did he also make big plays when it mattered, Yes. So you also have to give him credit for not getting down and keeping his head up. BTW, where were the heads of the Camas team in the 4th quarter?

  19. titan fan on November 10th, 2009 7:42 am

No one is saying that Weller is better than Grayson. All i was saying is I’m happy with Weller. Yes, Weller had one bad game against Camas, but he is an oustanding kid and a great quarterback that i wouldn’t trade for anyone in the GSHL, thats right ANYONE. Great leader, better kid. Also Papermakerpride, you were upset that someone said you had no class, but then you say we have no class. Well that was a classy comment on your part.

Last, how could swimming and tennis at Union recruit you to come play for them when your a “star” on the football team and all three of those sports are in the same season. Nice try.

  20. Storm Fan on November 10th, 2009 9:03 am

Camas fans-You guys lost to every good team you played this year.Get over it and stop bashing the teams and the kids on those teams who beat you. Show some class…

  21. U.T. PARENT on November 10th, 2009 9:18 am

Grayson is the best QB in the area bar none. I am a Union parent and respect players from all over the league, but I wonder what it would of been like if Grayson came to Union. If Valencia or the Columbian actually m,ade an effort at uncovering facts, they would know that Piland had approached Grayson and other Heritage athletes at basketball games and outside of school.

  22. Fan of the U on November 10th, 2009 9:27 am

Camas DB – I am going to call you out on your allegation. Who recruited you? Write their name down and when did it happen? If you aren’t willing to back up your assertion, then quit being dishonest on here.

Camas Fans -why are you still here? It’s basketball season for you.

  23. Fan of the U on November 10th, 2009 9:41 am

P.S. – Grayson has a lot of athletic ability and it will be fun to follow him in his college career. Congratulations to him and his family.

Brandon Weller is a proven leader and winner. He doesn’t have the physical size of some other quarterbacks mentioned here, but nobody can question the size of his heart. He is a different type of quarterback than Grayson or even Logan Grindy. The bottom line is that he has been able to lead the Union offense to score a lot of points and do their part to win a lot of games. He is still playing this week so I would say he is the most successful at this level.

  24. Titan fan on November 10th, 2009 10:23 am

He can’t come up with names or a date when he was recruited by Union because it didnt happen. I personally know both of the coaches at Union he is refering to and kow that they would never do anything illegal as far as recruiting. Why would they? Union swimming and Union tennis both dominated their leagues, why would they need to add a jv kid to their roster’s? Just give these guys credit for running two of the better programs in Clark County.

  25. GSHL Fan on November 10th, 2009 10:56 am

hey camas db, union qb might have had 7 fumbles and two ALMOST interceptions but cams still lost to union. and what was the result of the playoffs? union won and camas lost.

  26. swwashfan on November 10th, 2009 11:51 am

Penaranda, Saylor, Weller, Nelson, Boatright, Russell, Browning none in the top in stats in the ghsl, BALANCE, TEAM, WINNERS!!!!!
If Weller was on a team with less talent maybe he would shine a little brighter
Example if Penaranda would be on a team that was not as balance he would be all over the stats he would be caring the ball 20, 25 times a game you would need a calculator to add up his stats. Why do you think Russell has success its because of Saylor at WR and Penaranda at RB and SLOT and Nelson at TE ,who do you defend and I am not putting down Russell love the heart and grit that young man runs with but not a fantastic athlete, but a dam good football player. Weller is a perfect match for this team. Dodge might not have the chemistry with these guys or Grayson and sometimes Chemistry is more important than talent.
These young men don’t produce numbers they produce results, touchdowns and win games like the article last week on Penaranda said his stats don’t tell the story put his perfomce says it all.

stop responding to sour grapes it gets old, good teams lost and good teams won lets move on

  27. South Kitsap Dad on November 10th, 2009 4:01 pm

Well I would just like to say that South Kitsap did a great job. We too did not have all our starters for one reason or another and we are not making excuses for allowing 21 points.
Grayson is a good QB and I hope he does well at the college level but I also believe South has a very good QB and he showed that along with the wide recievers and running backs.
Amazing how everyone got off the topic of the SK v Heritage result and started on some poaching issue.

  28. Heritage Alumni on November 10th, 2009 5:21 pm

I will agree with south kitsap dad.. .this was supposed to be about heritage vs sk but turned into camas bashing union and union bashing camas…. damn i am tired of your [bs].. take it to the unoin and camas pages… SK played a good game but I am pretty sure Heritage would have come away with the win with all the starters!

  29. PS3Epic on November 10th, 2009 5:38 pm

If Heritage had Yahn and Mitzabura I think they would of had a much better record. Too bad Greyson had to go out without a league title and a playoff run. I think though he will be a success in college.

  30. twolffan on November 10th, 2009 8:01 pm

sk played good in that game the running back 33 i believe it was and some major heart and he just wouldnt give up thhat team just all around olays with more heart then i have seen in the gshl but we did play a good game if we had matsu and yahn at full health i guarantee this game would have been a hell of a lot closer and we would have b een on top in the end just my opinion though. and the whole union camas thing should stop when parents and students/players bash on eachothers class it only makes the school look bad im not badhing on either school just pointing out the obvious its really immature

  31. Just Sayin' on November 10th, 2009 9:55 pm

time to fade into oblivion, Heritage…play some Defense next year & I will support your team…what a GD waste of talent!

  32. CamasDB on November 10th, 2009 10:48 pm

Wow, you guys are actually asinine and really stupid. Don’t make assumptions about me because you don’t know crap. Freshman year, couple of ADULTS, not wishing to name people since i respect and like them, asked me to join the tennis team personally and i transferred into Union for 3 weeks in winter realizing that the school is not fun and was not all that glorious. I went to Shahala btw. for you idiots that thinks i dont have any friends there. Just starting this year as a sophmore, i didn’t play tennis and instead did football. BTW. for you people who have the athlete’s ball sacks in your face, Alex Wallace, a friend of mine and national tennis player is recruited into Union since he lives on the FAR side of Evergreen highschool boundary, and is the only reason the tennis there is great. As for swimming, you guys are horrible so don’t be in denial and kid yourself.

  33. Just Sayin' on November 10th, 2009 11:11 pm

Here’s an assumption I can’t help but make…the QB that you like to criticize…. pretty sure he picked your defensive backfield apart when the chips were down. He threw pass after pass against you, stud. It would appear as though YOU weren’t up for the challenge. But now you wanna come on here & play internet tough guy. Here’s how I see things…take away the first year when they didn’t have any seniors & it’s 30-love.

Oh, and I also know the swim coach for Union very well & trust me…we will have a conversation. Think you pretty much picked one of the most integrity driven person I know to call out publicly with your FALSE claims. Your a complete fake if you call winning districts 2 years in a row & sending BY FAR the most amount of athletes than any other district school to state in swimming is horrible…than ok, I can only assume that your an idiot ‘cuz your talking out your azz, douche bag

By the way, if you went to Shahala then you most likely should have gone to Union. Certainly NOT Camas, so what are you doing over there, stud? Must have been recruited, or did your family move into the Camas district? Shahala is part of the Evergreen School District, last time I checked…idiot!

  34. greater saint on November 10th, 2009 11:14 pm

lots of hostility on here between camas and union…

union fans: yes camas lost because of their 4th quarter performance and union won because of their outstanding 4th quarter performance.. and the 4th Q is where it counts to be ahead so i give props to union for that.. you say to be classy because camas isnt’t well ur not being so classy ur self by constantly bringing up that union beat camas and camas lost in the cross over and union didnt… think about things before you say them

Camas fans: union won this year and though camas had some upsetting things happen lets be the classy people we know we are and stop trying to make excuses and one up union

TO all: next year 4A better look out for the clash of the titans and the paper makers a better camas team will be ready to step up and i think union wont be nearly as good as this years team so we will see what happens

Go Union in the playoffs bring the title to GSHL

  35. Knute on November 11th, 2009 12:32 am

I feel as though I must interject here. Just Sayin’ is absolutely correct, Union swimming really does have the best athletes in the area. Use to be Camas had the premier team & always represented GSHL in state very well. No one cares about swimming, so the majority here wouldn’t know that. However, since the inception of Union there is no question they have the premier team. I am extraordinarily close to the program and I know where practically every one of the team members live and it is 100% in district. Coach Shoup directs all of the local Evergreen teams. Evergreen, Heritage, Mountain View & Union. Why he would ‘recruit’ anyone to any one school is beyond me. It would be a conflict of interest & he is without question one of the finest men I know & would NEVER consider even suggesting a swimmer to any school over another. So, please put it out of your head that Union is ‘recruiting atheletes to ther swim program. I am here to vouch for them that this is sheer fantasy. The statements made here on this websites & the allegations that have been presented will be reviewed, but I have all the confidence in the world that no wrong-doing will be found out.

I will say this, if there is still any question about the integrity of the Union swim program. Coach Shoup DQ’d his own team because one of his swimmers displayed what some would consider questionable sportsmanship because she jumped into the pool to congratulate a team member for turning in a personal best. The DQ meant relinquishing a highly valued state qualifyig time for a relay. This affected 3 other participants on the team. This was an extremely unpopular decision but he stuck to his guns and maintained his position. The swimmer in question was my daughter, and as much as I wanted her to get this particular time, there was a lesson to be learned, and I am so greatful that Coach Shoup was there to instill this to her. So, question the success of the Union swim program all you want, but know this…integrity is job one & there really can be no question at all about this with this coach.

Camas DB, if you would like to continue with your claims of being ‘recruited’ by Union Swimming I will very happily make myself available to continue this conversation. But, until you can actually present any shred of truth to your claims, I will need you to contact me directly. I will provide my contact info to you and promise to see this through to the end & will come on here and make my findings public for everyone to see. I have all the confidence in the world that you will be found out to be a liar in this claim. But, please I am begging you to prove me wrong, please re-state publicly your claim that you were ‘recruited’ by Union for swimming & I will exhaust all avenues in an unbiased way to prove or disprove your claim.

  36. Me on November 11th, 2009 12:37 am

CamasDB you are RIDICULOUS. Not only is your credibility nowhere to be found, but we are all well aware that the only reason youre on here is to flaunt about your own credentials. I’m here to tell you I DONT CARE. Actually…WE DONT CARE. and by WE i mean the football fans in clark county that are on here to talk football don’t care AT ALL if you are on the ”national tennis team.” You are a loser. Get out of here. But football or get out. I don’t care what you have to say you already ruined your credibility with false claims with no backup to be found. Typical. Grow up and get out.

  37. SHS fan from EWU on November 11th, 2009 2:26 am

Greater Saint… hmm… 4A is not going to be looking for a clash between Camas and Union. If both teams are still 3A then 4A will keep an eye on its own. If both teams do move up to 4A then a clash between (in no particular order) 1st and 2nd place SHS and UHS would be much more likely to draw attention. Sorry to burst your bubble but Camas is still on the bottom of the podium in the GSHL.

    Go Storm!

(Good Luck Columbia River and Union)

  38. titan fan on November 11th, 2009 3:48 am

Camas DB you are a flat out liar and I know who you are because of all the information you provided. You know one of my sons and when you came to Union you couldn’t hack it there because the classes were too intense, not because it was boring.
To say Alex Wallace was recruited is also a lie. He decided to come to Union after he went on a tour of the school, then the coaches approached him to congratulate him, nothing before hand. If youthink otherwise, maybe we should have a conversation to come up with the truth. I know for a fact you approached the Union coach after being kicked off the Camas tennis team. He politely said you needed to work it out with your coach. I know this because I was there, watching my son play your team and you did this during a league match!!! Real smart. Lastly, you wouldn’t have cracked varsity at Union because my son plays there and was one of the top JV kids and he beats you.
You need to stop talking, play whatever sport you play and quit badmouthing these coaches who run two of the top notch programs in the whole state.

Good luck to all teams in the GSHL this weekend and especially our Titans.

You are obviously a dishonest little man and the Evergreen School District is glad to be rid of you. Nothing you write stands the test of truth and your cagy dodging when asked for specifics spells a rat.

Grayson is a good football player. So is Dodge,Grindy and Weller. Not in any particular order… Who knows who Camas Db is? Titan Fan and Fan of the U are very sensitive folks in regards to recruiting at Union. It may or may not have happened. But with the reactions of people I think there is some truth to both sides. But what I am saying at this point WHO CARES!!!! If it happened it is over…but based on reactions from people at union it might have. Again if it happend it worked they are a good athletic program, and they have good community support. But there are other good programs and athletes in this county that has nothing to do with Union.

  47. Fan of the U on November 11th, 2009 1:51 pm

I don’t think it’s the Union fans that keep raising the recruiting issue on here. For at least 2 years there have been a few posters, and I think it’s fair to say the majority of them are fans of a high school from a town with a mill (i’m not naming names), who regularly make empty claims that U recruits. Their allegations usually coincide with their own school (I’m not saying any school in particular) taking a tough loss or preparing for a long off-season. When called out about their fabrication, the cowards then disappear for some period of time, only to reappear later to fling more dung in support of their school (once again I have not named names – wink wink – sound familiar CA–S DB?).
I agree with you Jim Teecher – it does get old. But there are some of us who will continue to defend against these fabricated tales. It’s wrong and to be honest, it’s very easy to shoot the embellishers right outta D-C HA–IS Staduim (I didn’t say it out loud) I guess it’s the best some can do when they don’t have the scoreboard on their side.

just because someone reactions to an accusation doesn’t mean they are sensitive, just defending something that never happened and I’m hoping never will. All Union coaches have been accussed at some point, because they are good. But as you said gymteacher, there are a lot of good athletes in Clark County and we should support all of them because they are kids, even if they play for the rival school. So lets stop accussing and just play against anyone.

WHO CARES!!! Yes I am yelling. Again truth is probably somewhere in the middle. O.J. was not guilty remember. Or was he? Remember the rumors probably started with kids who got “recruited” telling other kids so they could feel good. Kids know the truth. Really that is all that matters. I did read something about that last spring about some softball player. So it could happen. Again WHO CARES!!!

  52. titan fan on November 11th, 2009 5:31 pm

Gymteacher your being stupid and obviously are not going to get it “of do you?” The rumors happen at all schools and because I personally know a lot of the coaches at most of the schools, I know it doesn’t happen. If it does, they appropriate people put a stop to it. Union does not recruit in any sport. The softball player issue went through all the proper channels, then some issues had to be straightened out, then it was resolved. They found nothing on this matter, except the girls parents were going through a divorce. Nice try.

look i understand this place is for grayson. beast of a kid. but i really would just like to get this whole camas is whiners thing. WE LOST. WE UNDERSTAND. you say we are whiners. a few of us make it seem that way, when most of us arent. all union people on here keep making remarks like “why are you here its basketball season for you” and not being able to type the words DOC HARRIS. if i didnt know better, i would think that every union supporter is this rediculous and disrespectful. weird how it works both ways. no back to grayson. how about he goes my BEAVS! :) i would gladly take a quarterback as good as him there. i have also heard rumors about saylor going to OSU. is it true?

Saylor will be TE at Western Oregon. Book it..he is over rated.

  58. GSHL Observer on November 11th, 2009 10:17 pm

Actually, you are wrong. Saylor is going to Clark to play soccer or field hockey.

  59. GSHL Observer on November 11th, 2009 10:18 pm

I guess they don’t have field hockey. Basketball?

  60. greater saint on November 12th, 2009 1:16 am

union does not recruit however they did get lucky and get athletes from the surrounding school just by the luck of the draw of the boundaries… so they were good these past few years but it all ends after this season when all the seniors leave.. the titans will still be a good team but not as good as the upcoming camas team of the skyview team (if union and camas go 4A)… if both stay at 3A then im sure we will see more domination of the other teams till they play each other in the final game again

  61. greater saint on November 12th, 2009 1:22 am

reminds me of middle school football when shahala was first made and sky ridge was the league champion year after year after year but shahala came in and were suddenly the beast for like three years then sky ridge took over again… same situation different schools

  62. HHS Fan on November 12th, 2009 7:41 am

I have a great idea… lets stop talking about Union and Camas since this blog is suppost to be about Heritage and Grayson. The topic isn’t suppost to be about how Union is or isn’t recruiting. Who cares. Their in the playoffs and it’s over and done with. How about you guys just support each GSHL team and shut you mouths?

  63. bob on November 12th, 2009 8:45 am

3A, 4A league champs twice in a row.

Well I am sorry that everyone wants to be so nasty about who was trying to poach who from whatever school. SK played a good Heritage side no doubt. People say if we(Heritage) had all our starters we would have won. Well if (South Kitsap) had all thier starters they would have won the game by more points then they did or even better they might not have allowed the 21 points they gave up. I know SK did not have all thier starters as one of the coaches is a very good friend of mine. Lets face it we were beaten by a better team.
South Kitsap get to move on and play a very good Skyline team. I wish South Kitsap all the luck and I actually believe they have a great chance of winning.

This is why the game is played to have these fun debates.

For those of you who want engage in faultfinding of other schools and athletes do it somewhere else. It just shows a lack of class.

  66. old friend on November 12th, 2009 10:41 am

look… union is a good team. a great team infact. the reason why is they have been playing together sence ccyf and in middle school. i used to go to shahala untill i moved in after my 8th grade season of football. i played with most of them and they play well. not only do they have talent, but they also work hard and work together. i wish them the best of luck in state.

  67. swwashfan on November 12th, 2009 1:20 pm

PS3Epic saylor is being recruited as a TE he is 6 6″ and 210
in a few years he will be about 250 his father was a TE at Stanford, Mitch will follow his steps.
UCLA, Oregon and Oregon State are looking at him as a TE
a few Big sky teams are looking at him as a WR
Mitch has excepted the fact that he will be a TE
GSHL, and PS3Epic where will you be next year?

  68. swwashfan on November 12th, 2009 1:27 pm

Check out the opponents for Skyview, Union and Columbia River
Oh boy we are in for a long weekend in sw Washington these teams are good, very good. I hope our boys and coaches are not looking ahead to anything but the game in hand or we will be out the door.
Boys think of one thing only, TO DO YOUR JOB AS A TEAM.

  72. PS3Epic on November 12th, 2009 8:03 pm

Well as a matter of fact I am on scholarship as we speak,. So the idea that he gets letters from the schools dont mean squat. No official visit says a bunch. Greyson is the only pac 10 caliber kid in SW Washington. Saylors best shot is at Idaho State if he’s lucky. But then the Columbian will make him sound like an all world kid. We laugh at heritage ranked 8 in state, but saylor was pre season all-state, he will be lucky for 2nd team all league as wr..maybe 1st team at athlete.

Got something to say?
