I have a little bit of a hard time with Jeremy Wolf as 1st team kick returner when Jacob Yordy ran 2 back for TD’s and had other teams avoiding him on kickoffs as a freshman. Congrats to Yordy, though, for 1st team PR as a freshman.

Ok. Here’s the deal. Don’t you think that maybe, just maybe the coaches who vote on the All League teams and the MVP’s may have a little more insight into what is happening on the field than each of you. They watch hours of scout film on each team and player and they play against them. Why would any of you believe that you have a better understanding of who the best players are? Coaches gameplan. My bet is that the MVP’s in all of the classifications are players who have their opponents coaches wondering, “how are we going to neutralize him?” Do we stack the box? Do we run away from them? Do we double cover them?

    FEENEY

  12. Woodland on January 8th, 2011 3:12 pm

Adam Shoup is a junior, not a senior.

your questioning why tackwell should be D MVP? well, in our eyes why isn’t robbie weil first team TE? how does a soph steal that from a senior? and do not say performance, cuz that is a lie. so it all evens out, tackwell did things your not aware of, and I’m sure eric did things I’m not aware of. oh and g-dawg, you uh remember the civil war game…what happened on the first play? that was #44

Got something to say?
