Prairie Soars Past Battle Ground 49-13

Written by Bryan Levesque on October 30, 2010

Prairie took it to in-district rival Battle Ground Friday night and won 49-13.

The Falcons had lost 4 straight to the Tigers.

WR Jesse Zalk had a huge night for Prairie. Zalk had 262 yards from scrimmage and 4 touchdowns.

QB Colin Seitz threw for 270 yards on 11 of 15 passing and a 68 yard touchdown pass to, you guessed it, Jesse Zalk.

With the win Prairie improves to 4-5 on the season. The Falcons season is over. Battle Ground falls to 1-8 on the season with the loss. The Tigers season is over.

At one point in this game, BG was winning.

Looks like District Stadium belongs to the Prairie Falcons in 2010. I did not see much positivity on the BG sideline. Not much U-T-C. Lots of fights and unsportsmanlike conduct in this game. I am sad to say I don’t know if the Tigers can salvage anything from this last game. It kinda summed up their season – lots of frustration and no control. Sorry, guys – I really defended you all year but this game was bad in so mant ways. Keep soaring Falcons!

That was a great game by the falcons.. Zalk was great, and that rush of the field by the students after the game was indescribable.

Bryan i was wondering if you were going to post the video?
    Thanks!

Sorry the video is pretty bad, I got it from BG and the Prairie fans keep standing up and walking in front of the camera the whole game. Missed a lot of good plays because of that.
