R.A. Long Holds Off Washougal 14-0

The R. A. Long Lumberjacks did not win big Friday night, but they did win. The 14-0 win over Washougal keels R.A. Long on track to face Mark Morris on October 30th with the league title at stake. The Lumberjacks got their first shut out since a 20-0 week 2 win at Hudson’s Bay, while Washougal was shut out for the second time in 3 weeks. The Panthers are much improved over last season when they lost 42-12 to R. A. Long.

With the win, R.A. Long improves to 6-1 and 3-0 in league. The Lumberjacks will travel to Ridgefield (1-6 0-3) on Friday.

Washougal drops to 2-5 and 1-2 in league with the loss. The Panthers will host Woodland (5-2 1-2) on Friday.
