Written by Bryan Levesque on October 24, 2009

It was not pretty but R.A. Long’s 32-29 win over Ridgefield was enough to set up a winner take all game with Mark Morris next Friday.

The Spudders and Lumberjacks went back and forth in the first quarter swapping TD’s as Ridgefield led 21-14 after 1. The Lumberjacks then outscored Ridgefield 18-8 the rest of the game and won following Kalib Carr’s game winning 27 yard FG in the 4th quarter.

R.A. Long improves to 7-1 and 4-0 in league with the win. The Lumberjacks will play Mark Morris as the home team on Friday. The winner is the 2A GSHL league champions.

With the loss Ridgefield drops to 1-7 and 0-4 in league play. The Spudders will host Woodland on Friday.
