R.A. Long Tops Woodland 48-35 In Shootout

Woodland QB Trevor Hurn threw for 439 yards and five touchdowns (3 of which were to David Lubinski), however that was not enough as R.A. Long topped the Beavers 48-.35 Friday at Longview Memorial Stadium.

With the win, R.A. Long improves to 4-1 on the season and 1-0 in league play. The Lumberjacks host Hockinson (1-4) on Friday.

Woodland drops to 4-1 on the season with the loss and 0-1 in league play. The Beavers face yet another tough game as they host Mark Morris on Friday.

    Woodlands team has better athletism than Mark Morris and could of easily tooken the big W. Lots of mistakes were made by Woodland that affected the game. if the game were played 5 times the beavers would win the majority.

    don’t blame woodland on their mistakes cause ral caused them, also all 11 players on ralongs d came to play

    well.. if you watched the raineir game, which was like watching middle school football.. you probably wouldnt say that woodland is more athletic. and they get manhandled every week up front. hopefully they were more athletic than the 1a teams they have played so far.. good luck on friday i guess
