Written by Bryan Levesque on October 17, 2008
Columbia River was not going to loose to Fort Vancouver two years in a row. The Chieftains defeated the Trappers 31-8 at Kiggins Bowl in a GSHL 3A battle.
With the win Columbia River improves to 4-3 and 2-1 in league play. River will host Hudson’s Bay (1-6 0-3) on Friday. With a win, Rive will clinch a play-off spot.
The Trappers drop a second game in a row and fall to 2-5 and 1-2 in league. Fort Vancouver needs a win Friday at home versus Camas (5-2 2-1) if they want to make the play-offs.
