Skyview Rips Kelso 59-14

Written by Bryan Levesque on October 24, 2008

The Skyview Storm took a 21-0 lead in the first quarter, and they did not slow down. Kelso trailed 38-0 at the half on homecoming for the Highlanders. Things were still bad in the third as Skyview scored again to take a 45-0 lead. Kelso did manage a touch down in both the third and forth quarters, but that did little to lessen the sting of a 59-14 home loss.

With the win Skyview improves to 6-2 and 3-1 in league play. The Storm host Heritage (5-3 4-0) Thursday at Kiggins Bowl. Skyview can claim a share of the 4A GSHL title with a win.

Kelso drops to 3-5 and 0-4 in league with the loss. The Highlanders wrap up the regular season with a road game at Battle Ground (1-7 0-4) Friday.
