Thunder Hold Off Trappers Comeback, Win 24-14

Written by Bryan Levesque on September 26, 2008

The Mountain View Thunder took a 14-0 halftime lead at Kiggins Bowl versus the Fort Vancouver Trappers. Fort outscored the Thunder 14-10 in the second half, but it was not enough. With the 24-14 win Mountain View evens its record at 2-2 on the season as they enter league play next week back at Kiggins Bowl versus Skyview (2-1). Skyview just missed the AP top-10 poll released today. Fort Vancouver drops to 1-3 as they also start league play next week versus the Prairie Falcons (1-2) at District Stadium in Battle Ground.

Our defensive line Boyd Krafsig Spears and Tudela way to defend against that 3 back trapper offense. Without our front guys and linebackers doing there job things would have been alot closer.

Got something to say?
