Turnovers Doom Mark Morris As Monarchs Lose On The Road 31-6 To River Ridge

Mark Morris (1-2) could not overcome 7 turnovers Thursday night in Lacey as the Monarchs fell 31-6 to River Ridge (3-0).

The Monarchs did manage to avoid the shut out when Senior RB Jeremy Wolf ran in from 2 yards out after a Dalton Thatcher interception return into River Ridge territory set up the score.

With the loss Mark Morris falls to 1-2 on the season. The Monarchs will host Hockinson (0-2) to open league play Friday, September 24th, 7:00 pm at Longview Memorial Stadium.
