Van Sligtenhorst Too Much For Storm As Rogers Wins 55-30

The Skyview Storm saw their season come to an end as the #10 Rogers Rams won at Kiggins Bowl 55-30.

Rams QB Tyler Van Slightenhorst was just too much as he ran for 280 yards and four rushing touchdowns. Van Slightenhorst also had 113 yards passing and two passing touchdowns not to mention an interception on defense as well. WR Jake Steedman had 102 receiving yards and a touchdown while fellow receiver Sean Tollan caught a 21 yard TD and ran back an interception 75 yards for a score as well.

Skyview was led again by Sr. RB Duke Kelly. Kelly had 253 yards on 28 carries and two rushing touchdowns.

Skyview falls to 8-3 with the loss.

The Rams will advance to the Quarterfinals and travel to Central Kitsap (8-3) who upset #2 Olympia 14-10 Saturday night.
