Written by Bryan Levesque on September 12, 2009

When Washougal RB John Corona scored on a 32 yard TD run in the 3rd quarter things were looking very good for the Panthers. Corona’s 3rd score of the night had given the Panthers a 28-6 lead over visiting Kalama. However the Chinooks were not about to give up. Kalama scored 23 unanswered points and left Fishback Stadium with a 29-28 win.

With the loss the Panthers fall to 0-2 on the season. Washougal will host Chief Leschi Saturday at 7pm.
